Hey guys, I haven't been very active lately (we adopted three kids and have our hands full!). I have been following the EAGS season, but not their depth. I keep doing quick browses of this forum to see if there is some chirping on the topic, but haven't seen any.

However, we are once again parting ways with the FCS most valuable QB, as is EAG tradition!

Could anyone provide me with their speculation on what next year's QB situation looks like? We have a decent WR group coming back, despite the scare they gave us a couple years back. Who is going to be lobbing it up for 'em?

Let's just start off with.....that is awesome of you to adopt 3! Congratulations!

We have on our current roster 2021 - including commitments:
TREY TURNER- REDSHIRT FR
RYAN KELLEY - TRANSFER FROM ASU - REDSHIRT JR
SIMON BURKETT - RESHIRT SO
GUNNER TALKINGTON - RESHIRT JR
KEKOA VISPERAS - FRESHMAN

Only new one to have signed since Dec. 16th was Kekoa

I feel Gunner is the leader since he has been in the program for the longest, but Kelley being a Transfer from a D1 school has to be a serious option, but personally I like Trey Turner & Kekoa as they continues in the mold of EB3 and VA.

Here was a video list of the QB situation posted a couple of months ago... I see Ryan Kelley as the next in line assuming he's healthy and sticks to the fall. Burkett looks better on tape than Turner (too many short passes, doesn't extend the field) and I like Visperas a lot as an EB3 2.0. This is just watching the highlights, I haven't seen any of these guys in practice so don't know how they've grown as QB's. Of course, who knows what's going to happen at OC. ISU and Idaho have had little problem getting their coaches hired but there is NO news on Eastern's opening/s.

Tough going back and seeing all the great recruits who are no longer in the program... Imagine still having Ojoh and Afernee Gurley on this defense as an example :nod:

Kekoa Visperas QB 6-0 190 Spanaway, Wash. / Bethel HS '21 he also played a lot of WR... a lot of similarities with EB3. BIG arm.
