QUESTION FOR THE LOYAL MASSES

I am just wondering.....am I the only person who did NOT get a report on the WSU/SUU game in sports section of The Ogden Standard Examiner?(Sunday edition) I am pretty sure the game was over in plenty of time to make the deadline. I did not see a word...a paragraph, a picture, a headline...NOTHING!

I just think that you are the only person that still subscribes to the Standard Examiner, or any newspaper for that matter. Seriously, I didn't know the Standard still existed.

i would say the standard is one of the best wsu sources there is. for example right now it is the only wsu media outlet showing mahoney as the big sky player of the week.

The Standard-Examiner sports desk has been plagued by earlier and earlier deadlines over the past year and a half. I know first-hand that the sports desk has been frantically trying to figure out ways to get around this. I'd advise to check www.standard.net regularly like catcat said. Whenever they have an early deadline and can't get the game in the actual paper, they get it online pretty dang quick. Do this on Saturday nights in particular (for Sunday's paper). Saturday's are when they get slapped with the earliest deadlines.

I like the Standard. Like Catcat said, it is the only paper that actually, consistently, covers Weber State sports. I read about the Weber State vs. SUU game in the Sunday edition. Whats the big deal??

As for Mahoney...Did he really and there wasn't a thread created for it?
