Quincy "Flash" Forte

Did I heard Coach BB correctly on coaches show Forte will be avaialable this week?

Any news on Evan Day?

Yep, sounds like Forte should be available, which I think will be huge! Sounds like he could have come back sooner, but Baldwin wanted to be careful and not rush things and risk additional injury. He intimated he would use this same approach with VA, and that VA is slightly ahead of schedule. That means I could see VA being "able" to play against UND, but likely waiting until UM, and even in that game, maybe splitting time. I think it could depend on what happens over the next two weeks. If we lose two, we would really need to win at least one of those last two games to even make the playoffs. And I don't see any of the coming games as a gimme without VA, and the last two not a gimme even with him. But I tend to be pretty pessimistic. :|

Forte coming back for this game is huge! I think if VA comes back then he needs to just be back. No splitting time like a few years ago. Messes up rhythm of players. You either start him or keep him out. Either way I think we are good against NAU and UND.

If we beat NAU, we should be good to go for the home stretch, just needing to finish 1-2 for November to get in. 2-1 will get us a top 8 seed.

I haven't seen anything confirmed on forte, remember he suited up against UCD and could not go. hope for the best but prepare for the worse.

Hi Vic;
As you know Baldwin said Quincy is ready to play this weekend, I'm wondering how he has looked in practice? Game shape? Game ready?

Victory replied in another thread, let's see if I can make magic happen on my phone.

All,
Attended the past two practices, cold and Windy Tues, Raining and chilly Wed. Team looks good, even in the rain. Most of the walking injured are ready to go, namely Quicey Forte, Corey Mitchell, and I think Todd Raynes. Could be wrong on Todd. Team is leaving Friday via commercial. Going to be a long drive after arrival in Arizona. We have made the trip plenty of times, we will make it and do well. Game is on Roots TV, set my DVR this am. According to Roots game will start @ 12:30 p.m. our info states 12:05 p.m.
should be able to get more information after the game, Mariners have gone Fishing      , if you get my drift.    . Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

Seattle Eagle,
Spoke to Quincy on Thursday, he stated he was going to play. Jabari Wilson also stated he will be playing. Don't know what will transfer from Thursday and todays game. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

clawman,
Quincy have looked very good. The games he missed he was hardly on the field, when I saw him on Thursday, he had taken off his pads, when he stated he was going to play. That young man has a body that I remembered having when I was 19-25 years old. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) He is buffed, you can tell he lifts lots of weights. Enjoy yourself in Arizona, my DVR is set for todays game, did get confirmation "kick off is 12:40 p.m. today. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

clawman,
Monies raised for the Jerseys for Military Appreciation Weekend goes into the Varsity Fund. Hope I stated correctly. Will double check. See at Quest tonight 5:30 pm. Vic

I like Quincy, too bad he is a senior already. When I went to the Husky EWU game I told my friend that Quincy was the one Eastern RB that has Pac 12 speed. I think he averaged over 5 yards per carry and I like his shiftiness too! Jaylin Moore is a good back, doesn't have the jets Quincy does and is more of a downhill runner but he can get the job done. Mario Brown is not real fast and doesn't have the moves but he always surprises me with some tough running.
