Why are we brodcasting on AM still? 1280 is now called 97.5 the zone on FM. they but a talk show about how great byu is on 97.5 instead of our game? what we sign a contract and they give us there old sh!t station... then they have a commerical during our game on 4th and 11. i know the commerical is set to go off at certain times but come on.. some impression they made.

I turned it to 97.5, as I am out of area, and they had the byu sh!t, and then the Raptors after.

F U the Zone, you incompetent bastards.

Did the over the air radio feed also break in with the commercials like the internet feed?
No. The ads were from 1280's internet player. So if you listen on an old school radio or in your car you won't have random commercials during the game. I listened over the air and caught all of the feed. I also listened online for about 10 minutes and was about ready to throw my computer out the window. The random ads are online only.

I was out of town over the weekend and tried to listen to the game onlilne. What a bunch of crap!
Should we e-mail our complaints to Bovee or directly to the zone?
Please, bring back KLO!

My dad and I were frantically trying to find a radio station to work at our cabin, we couldnt even hear 1280, and we even tried the Wyoming channel, but heaven forbid a Wyoming channel would work in wyoming.

We ended up finding one that worked sometimes.

It's a 1280 issue. My understanding is that someone from our staff contacted KLO first thing this morning.

I emailed "The Zone" just after the game and laid into them. I received this response in my email today.

"I want to apologize for the technical problems that we had during the game on the streaming side. I have my engineers working on them and we should be all set for the next game. Thanks for your patience and GO WILDCATS!" -- Jody Adams, general manager

I have my doubts... :willybs:

I emailed 2 or 3 people. I received 2 responses from "The Zone":

Subject: Very sorry for our problems during the Wildcat game

Good morning Paul,

Thank you for emailing about the problems we had during this weekends Weber State game, I certainly understand your frustration with us. We are truly very sorry for ruining what turned out to be an exciting and fantastic game. We had an issue with the ad injection program that we use to place ads on the on-line stream. We did not intend to play those commercials, the computer played them automatically when it was not supposed to. Long and short of it, this problem is a top priority, has been addressed, and will not be a problem in the future.

This is our first season carrying Wildcat games and we are very sorry that we experienced a couple of bugs during our first game. It is also very unfortunate that the timing could not have been worse in this case. Thank you for your patience, we hope you will give us another chance.

Please feel free to email me with any issues or feedback that you may have in the future.

Kayvon, I am absolutely speechless and find it very difficult to write this with out lacing it with obscene language. What is the deal with cutting to commercials during play by play? It didn't happen just 1 or 2 times. It happened all game long!! Is this channel really that poor that they need commercials during play by play? It also sound oh so amature..

I am very displeased and don't believe I will be supporting any of your future programing.

PISSED, Paul Turnblom

We will see if they got the message. I hope they got buried with email!
