Rahe's Best Team?

Which team has been Rahe's best? Does the 2014-2015 Team have a shot at being his best? Personally, I feel that Rahe's two best squads are the 2009-2010 and the 2012-2013 teams. His first team deserves an honorable mention, mention, because they weren't expected to do anything, but ended up winning the Sky that season.

Regardless, the 09-10 team had such a great line up who played really well with each other. They were a lot of fun to watch.

Lillard
Session
Hansen
Bullinger
Panos

Hughey
Morris
Mahoney off the bench. What a fun team to have had a chance to watch.

And then the 12-13 Squad of
Richardson
Bamforth
Berry
Mook
Tresnak

Wheels
Williams
Hajek
Fulton

Great teams!!

Those were great teams. 2012/2013, because they went so far into the post season, would be the best, in my mind.

With that said, I still think that the best is yet to come. :thumb: :thumb:

2012-13, without question, in my mind. They won 30 games, including 18 conference games (still can't believe they didn't win the conference though), and pulled off probably Rahe's two best wins @ Dayton and @ N Iowa.

2012-2013 for sure. Could you have imagined if Lillard had stayed for his senior year? They would have been unbelievable.

12-13 was the best team hands down.

06-07 - Is probably my favorite because of high much they over achieved. How Rahe put that team together at the 11th hour and got them to buy in was nothing short of a miracle.

I just took a big ole drink of purple Kool-Aid. This coming season will be one of the most talented teams we have ever had. We will have some growing pains but at the end of the year we will consider 14-15 one of Randy's best teams.

Here is where I hit the Kool-Aid strong. As long as most of these kids stay with the program and Bolomboy sticks around for a senior season, the 2015 -2016 basketball team will be the best team in Weber State history. I predict that we could see that team go to the sweet 16.

The 12-13 team was pretty dang amazing. That was an extremely fun team. A lot of folks didn't think that team was going to be very good, but here in Ogden we all knew what Randy had coming back and there were a lot of reasons to be excited. That was a fun year and I'm still mad about the WTF game in Bozeman that season and SUU dropping the lead in the final min to Montana to allow the Griz the Championship. Oh well, we all knew who the better team was. The Grizz beat the Cats twice in Missoula by a total of 6pts and were destroyed in Ogden by what 25? Shoulda Coulda Woulda...in my mind, that is why the 09-10 team was the better team. They did win a Championship, only to be AJed in the finals.

I have no idea what to expect from this years team. There are going to be some growing pains. The two JC guys are definitely going to help the Cats get past some of the growing pains, but not all of them. I'm just really glad that we have a team of workaholics. Guys who give it their all, all of the time.

I'd like to make a case for the best "what might have been" team. The 2011-12 team of Lillard, Bamforth, Tresnak, Otis, and Bullinger. This was a team that was on track to be really, really good until both starting forwards (Bullinger and Otis) got hurt. Although Kyle did make it back, he was basically playing with 1 arm. I really would've liked to have seen what this team would have done if Bullinger and Otis had remained healthy.
