On the midmajor we dropped to 45th after losing those 2 games.

That was to be expected. When we beat the Utes it will start going back up.

Honestly, the team needs to cut their turnovers down! The Cats have been averaging close to 20 a game. Once that issue is solved we will look and play better. We would have beaten Bakersfield by 15 or 20.

Next Monday maybe we will see our team move back closer to the top 25 with a Ute win!!

Currently we are still in the mid 40's. Montana is 33rd.

WSU back on the list for votes for mid-major top 25, UM is slowly moving down fading away and NAU just popped up for the first time with 1 vote. Interestingly, NAU's head coach is the only vote coming from the Big Sky toward the mid-major top 25.

collegeinsider's top 25 for the mid-majors' is pretty lame. who ever is currently in first place in the Big Sky always gets votes. If they lose then the next first place team is automatically in the middle of the schools receiving votes outside of the top 25. Currently PSU has 2 votes and just last week NAU was almost 25th and now no where in site.

Portland State - still not in the top 25 - they are 35th with 16 points.

Kinda sad that not one Big Sky team is in the mid major top 25. In 2003 we made the top 5. Then again we finished the season 30th in the AP real poll.

I think that is kinda ridiculous. PSU has a really good team this season. Granted, they did get beat in the Bracket Buster by Cal Fullerton, which was completely embarrashing for the Big Sky, but; nonetheless, PSU has been almost dominating in the Sky this season. I'm looking for a rematch, I think Weber can beat them. First, Weber must stop Carlos Taylor and beat the Bobcats and then the much anticipated rematch with NAU... Oh yeah bring it Lumberjokes (thanks bengalhater).
