Rape in Missoula

In the Missoulian they mentioned one of the Griz QB's, Jordon Johnson, is accused of rape and thus not at spring drills. Anyone know if this is a new allegation or one from the past?

ANOTHER one? You've got to be kidding me. Obviously, innocent until proven guilty and all that, but the fact that even accusations of this nature keep puking out of Missoula really show the low level decision making skills of their kids and just how ridiculous their whole dog and pony show is getting. I think we can all love to hate the Griz, but you never want to see a program go through something like this. Regardless if the accusations are true or not, it puts a black eye on the program, school, and city. For the sake of the conference and Montana, I sure hope none of these stories are true because there sure seems to be a ton of them this year in Missoula.

Haha, whoa there, bud. In my other post I was talking about kids who will be in a position battle this spring and fall, not rape. Big difference. Calm down, take a xanax, and maybe take an english 101 class while you're at it. The only way this situation would be relevant to the "win at all costs" argument would be if all these kids that have been accused of this stuff at UM were transfers. They weren't.

I don't know what's going on over there, but between all the DUI's, rape accusations, and whatever else, there does seem to be a systemic lack of control in the Griz program right now. I definitely hope there's no merit to all of this stuff, but I'd be pretty pissed off if I were a UM fan right now. Good thing I'm not. :twisted:

Every school has stupid players and smart players, male players and female players and there are players from EACH catagory that do stupid things, they're kids. The difference in some programs vs others is what happens when a kid does something stupid. If there is an absolutely ZERO tolerance level for these infractions it is a message to the kid who is tempted, and thinks he/she is smarter than they actually and they might get away with it but decides the consequences are not worth the risk. If the example is that star players get more lee way than rank and file players, like it seems to happen in Msla., the problems will continue. Like if you put yourself in a situation where you get Tarazed for pushing a cop you probably should suffer some real consequences.
