• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Former West Jordan star, and current Nebraska G, Ray Gallegos is redshirting this season. In the Spring of 2010 he announced that he was going to leave Nebraska to play closer to home. Many on this board, including myself, theorized that Gallegos was planning on transfering to Weber. However, Doc Sadler, Nebraska's coach, was able to convince Gallegos to stay in Lincoln.

After a sub-par Sophmore season, where he rarely saw the floor, after starting 3 games and averaging almost 15min a game as a Fresh, he has decided to RedShirt this season. Is there a possibility that Gallegos leaves the Nebraska program and transfers closer to home this time around? If so, does Weber still want him? Is he someone the Cats need?

If Lillard leaves for the NBA at the end of this season, the Wizard will need to add another guard for the 2012-2013 season. A JC would, in all likelihood, be brought in. However, with the talent coming back next season (Bamforth, Wheelright, Berry, Brown, and Richardson) I'm not so sure Rahe will sign a JC or even a high school G next spring. He might hold onto the scholie and sign an additional player in the 2013 class. Or he might sign a wing next spring. I'm guessing that Rahe, since he has brought in a transfer the follow two seasons, might be thinking of adding another transfer at the end of this season. Who knows...we all know that The Wizard will be adding, at least, 1 player this spring to fill the open scholarship left vacant by Shai Fields departure. Gotta wonder what is happening. Hmmm... ;-)

Keep an eye on Mack Prep Jamar Goodwin. He didn't get signed out of high school (Ennis High Tx) and decided to take the Prep route instead of the JC route. I can't remember Weber ever signing a Prep school athlete, but there is always a first time for everything. Goodwin is 6-5...in high school he averaged 14.5 and 8.5. Currently, he is doing fairly well in Prep school. 16 & 8.
