• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

Simply click your profile name > account upgrades > BigSky Club > choose between the year long subscription (two free months) or month to month

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

recruiting new members for this forum

We should be out recruiting new members for this forum. Maybe by posting over at the Vanguard with the link to this site?

Now that Portland State is becoming relevant on campus, you might consider sending a representative to new student orientation to let them know that the forum is available so they can keep up with the latest of Portland State sports, and stress that it's free.

You might also consider doing the same with the new foreign students. Many of my Chinese students have gone onto different colleges and once they begin to experience the excitement of a football Saturday they begin to get into the sport and want to learn more.

You might also post flyers in areas where students congregate or make a large banner you can hang somewhere conspicuous with the web link and clearly say that it's the best place to get the latest news and comment on the happenings in Portland State Sports. It might also increase the following in football and basketball, but also in Portland State's Olympic sports teams.

Finally, you might ask the webmaster on goviks.com if a link to the forum be included on the webpage.

Some school have even begun to offer college basketball play by play in other languages in an attempt to foster more interest on campus.
