Recruits

Looks like Sagan Gronauer has committed -- he's a 6'0" 205 lb. QB from Faith Lutheran HS in Las Vegas. And JaMaree Boone, a 5'8", 162 lb. CB from Harbor City, CA has committed as well.

Does ISU do much recruiting in Northern California? Also, are there any Bengal football alumni that are as famous as Jared Allen?

I'm not sure he's as popular, but we currently have Josh Hill playing tight end for the Saints.

Merril Hoge is well known. He had a nice NFL career, and until last year, had worked years as an ESPN analyst.

William Petersen who is most famous for playing Grissom on the TV show CSI is another who can be argued as a famous football alum. It's true he attended ISU for a year, and he has said he arrived on a football scholarship. He didn't have good grades, and he started taking some drama classes. Obviously that worked out better for him! :D I have heard from others that he came as a walk-on and didn't participate that year because of the grades.

Two current NFL Head Coaches both played at ISU -- Marvin Lewis (Cincinnati Bengals) and Dirk Koetter (Tampa Bay Buccaneers).

Can the moderator/admin please fix the title of this thread...It’s killing me :ohno:

Bengal_believer should be able to fix it by clicking to edit the first post, and then edit the subject line.

Are there any pass rushers on the recruiting list? It seems like ISU isn't too concerned with putting pressure on QB's. The way the conference emphasis dual threat QB's maybe that's okay.
