It's not often I've been a fan of a team that beat us. Today is an exception. That is a heck of a gesture!
 
The sticker, the wreath sent to Jake's dad's service, and the respect shown by the team, fans and the university showed total class by Illinois State. May the Redbirds win the national championship, and may our two teams meet again in a future playoff game.
 
I've become a Redbirds fan for every game but when they play us! So very impressive and the epitome of mid-West graciousness.
