NAU: I think Weber starts to Weber their season from here on out and NAU is on the rise. Glad Weber had a par season and can't wait to read up on them in the offseason. Hopefully this isn't just a blip in the radar and Weber starts to routinely make decent teams.
Southern Utah: My guy actually tells me that Montana State pulls off the win. However, every other metric tells me that SUU controls a very poor Bobcat team.
North Dakota: I think Northern Colorado gives UND a damn run for their money, but UND keeps UNC's offense in check and UND squeaks another close win.
Portland State: Tough one to pick. Both these teams seem equally bad. I think Portland State eeks this one out with a stronger offensive attack.
Montana: Montana will rebound with a fury in their cozy WA-Griz stadium
Eastern Washington: Cal Poly used to have a good defense. I don't think that is the case anymore. Our defense doesn't necessarily stop Cal Poly, but they do enough to keep it from becoming a shootout.
Deserve what I got here. Fanciful statements like "less pressure" or "georgia boy" don't equate to actual ability, coaching or execution.luckyintheorder said:OK, going on a limb in two contests. MSU gets their first win in BigSky play on the road at SUU. Less pressure away from home and freshman QB runs for over 100 yds and defense does enough against lethargic SUU offense. Also UNC over UND. Not because I don't believe in UND (well OK a little), but these teams look similar, they will be at elevation and the QB for UNC is a Georgia boy... look away, look away, look away Dixie land.
