We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

So were do the other(Cal Poly, UC Davis, and Southern Utah) Great West schools go, should the BSC pick them up? have 12 teams? have an east and west divison?

West
Portland State
Northern Arizona
Sacramento State
Cal Poly
UC Davis
Eastern Washington

East
Montana
Montana State
Weber State
Idaho State
Northern Colorado
Southern Utah

Still jaded by whatever Big Sky school representative (suspect an in-state rival) used Southern Utah and "over my dead body" in the same sentence. There's a prevailing thought that SUU doesn't quite have the academic standards Big Sky schools prefer.

That's probably important. Consider that Boise State is likely on the lower end of the WAC scale, hence doesn't have to have smarter recruits, and things kind of dovetail from there. I trust you get where I'm getting at.

I don't see this taking place, mostly because the Big Sky would want these schools for all sports, not just football. For basketball and everything else, UC Davis and Cal Poly are better off sticking in the Big West with their fellow UC and Cal State schools, so they're probably more likely to just become independents in football.

I concur with this. I think that 2008 will find those schools as independents.
