Viks released the upcoming 2020-21 basketball schedule, revised due to the late start nationally. Interesting setup as teams will play two games back to back at the same venue against the same opponent.

Still unclear of the status of fans in the stands...

What's with the huge gap between 2nd and 3rd games of the season?

Being that we are playing Weber, maybe that weekend was the only one that Lillard was free. You can bet they will all be hanging out together and somehow that does not violate the whole "improper player/alumni relations".

20 conference games and the NCAA is allowing a total of 27 games so maybe it gives us room for non-conference matchups.

Kate Brown is still not budging.

Vikings 7th in the media poll and 4th, with one first place vote, in the coaches poll: https://bigskyconf.com/news/2020/11/11/mens-basketball-reigning-champ-eastern-washington-tops-bigskymbb-preseason-polls.aspx

Non-conference schedule taking shape...

11-25 at Washington
11-27 CS-Fullerton at Seattle
11-28 San Diego at Seattle
12-13 at Washington State
12-17 at Portland (Chiles Center)---unclear if Kate Brown will be attending.

Newly revised, revised basketball schedule. Thanksgiving in Seattle is out.

12-5 at Portland
12-13 at Washington State
12-18 Weber State (conference) at home
12-20 Weber State (conference) at home

Rumor has it that Fullerton and San Diego both have COVID and could not travel to Seattle. :o :ohno:

Also, rumor has it that moving the Weber series fits better with Lillard's schedule.

So it appears to be on:

Kate Brown will be specially invited to the PSU/UP basketball game on Dec. 5. At halftime, fans of both schools will be allowed in one at a time to stand 15 feet away from her (social distancing, of course) and throw eggs at her. Don't forget your mask.
