Road trip to UI

We are on the road to UI this week. On paper, we should win both of these games easily. However, our team has not been consistent enough for me to declair any games as easy.

One interesting side note is that many UI fans are already calling for their coaches head and he only has one full season under his belt. UI fans are the most unsatisfied group in the BSC. They still have not gotten over Boise State replacing them as top dog in Idaho. The road ahead for them does not look rosey, unless they can suddenly grow another half million people in their community.

I've watched UI play a couple of times now and think that we should be able to dominate in the front court and backcourt. Of course, the ball has to fall in and it would help if we could keep our big men out of foul trouble. :coffee:

SUU has an outbreak, series with ISU canceled. Hope your guys avoid the bug.
If we caught the bug, we caught it from them and their student body who was allowed to attend the game. If we did get it, I think we should sue them for their reckless behavior. IMHO, they can't leave the BSC fast enough. They will not be missed, not one little bit. :coffee:

In reading the UI board thread on a player hitting the portal, this little quip gave me a chuckle.

"Ditto - Verlin had a plan to develop Wilson. Claus is clueless and treated him like garbage. It's time to treat Claus like garbage because that's what he brings to the table every day - GARBAGE!!!"

They are really unhappy with their program right now. :wtf: They are UI, after all.

Only game scheduled in the Big Sky that was played today...😬

Wildcats played a solid game...now just interested in how they follow up on Saturday.

Yes, we played solid D, but I feel that we can play much better O. If we get it going on both ends, Saturday's game should go about the same. I'm sure that UI will come out with energy after being embarrassed like they were tonight. We just need to absorb their first punch and then get it rolling. :coffee:

A good follow-up game today. Now just have to see the Wildcats carry the momentum forward...provided the games are played next week.

I thought we came out a little flat defensively, but picked it up as the game went on. We stayed in our basic man D for the majority of both games. No need to do anything extraordinary for games like that. I expect we will need to do a bit more against MSU. MSU has been the hottest team in the BSC so far.
