Anyone else think he did a pretty good job as the analyst in last night's broadcast? I rewatched it (groan... Eastern played baaaaaaaaaaaaaddddd...) and I liked his commentary. He needs to brush up on his TV personality, but he was light-years ahead of most professional analysts. Former coaches tend to do an infintely better job breaking down what's happening on the field versus former players. He really spells out what's going on and even describes it in layman's terms.
He reminds me a lot (especially his voice and background) of Jim Walden when he used to do Coug broadcasts (before the Paul Wulff shit-fit).
