Rodney Stuckey: #1 Piston

In this season's Sports Illustrated NBA preview, the article about the Detroit Pistons focuses on former Eastern Washington superstar Rodney Stuckey being Detroit's most valuable player. Sounds unbelievebale for a former Big Skyer.

Here's a quote from the magazine:

"The player who was closest to untouchable? Second-year guard Rodney Stuckey. "He was the last guy we would have moved," Curry says. "With older All-Stars, you look at their window at that high level, and it's always closing. Stuckey had the widest window, so naturally he would've been the hardest to give up."

Gotta show some love for Rodney, now that he's moved on.

Here's the entire article:

And to think... He played at the Dee.

Ya and so did Karl Malone and John Stockton...John played at the Dee in college and pro. I wonder if he was teammates with Stew Morrill? Maybe Stew is older...
