Roll Call for PSU game ?

Yep, with bells on! Four of us. It's actually closer to Portland than it is for Cheney for us...

Me plus 4.
I wonder if our fans will outnumber the PSU fans.
That place looks pretty empty with their 4000 fan average.
I know the Eag faithful will be louder

Eastern will have exponentially more fans. I go every year Eastern plays in Portland, and at least the last 3 games have all been an Eastern-majority crowd. In fact, the trend has been that Eastern brings more and more fans each time while Portland State brings fewer and fewer. I wouldn't be shocked if Eastern has 4 or 5x as many. There won't be more than about 500 PSU people there.

It's a sad state of affairs on the Park Blocks.

6 of us flying in from Spokane and 2 from Stanwood! All staying at the same hotel within walking distance (according to the front desk) of the stadium and ready to cheer on our team!

Try the Park Lane Suites & Inn - that's where we are staying. They are about 4 blocks from the stadium.

Hotel DeLuxe is about 3 blocks away and is one I recommend often. They have a very cool old-timey bar there called the Driftwood Room, which is great... Also 1pm checkouts. The Paramount is about 10-12 blocks away and is another I recommend a lot.

If you want to stay on the cheap, there is an Econolodge on the other side of the PSU campus within a few minutes of walking distance.

Change of plans. Son #2 made the NAIA playoffs. Mom and I are now headed to Kansas City. We're sending grandpa, grandma, and girlfriend to Portland to represent! Gonna be an exciting few weeks for our household.

Thanks everyone for the hotel input. Now I have a decision to make......may have to see which has the best after game festivities.

I didn't even realize this was a friday game until tuesday night. For whatever reason I thought it was at 1900hrs on Saturday. Needless to say I was overjoyed, since there was no way for me to make it down to PDX on Saturday night. So I got the family on the phone and we are adding three to the party. I am a big fan of the recent tendency of making PSU our bonus home game every other year!
