Who has plans to attend the UW Husky game? Driving, flying, take the charter (if there is one), or ?? Heck some guys might even ride their mountain bike over.
Where are you staying?

Me, plus probably 3 or 4. Might actually meet a couple friends that live in the Seattle area and go to the game with them. So we could have a fairly large group. Probably drive back to the East side the night of.

Wondering if the EAA will have a tailgate area set up? :thumb:

Taking the family so won't be able to mountain bike over, will have to drive. We will stay at the Best Western in Auburn at least one night, it's next to the Longhorn BBQ and the owners are great supporters of EWU. This property is also close to the Super Mall and Emerald Downs for you shoppers and fans of the ponies. Stayed there when we played at Qwest, as did many of the player parents. They had a shuttle to Qwest, not sure if that will happen again as the trip to Husky Stadium is a bit further. Will be purchasing 4 EWU-UW tickets from Troy within the next few weeks. 253-887-7600 is the number for the Best Western Peppertree in Auburn. You can also click on the ad at http://www.goeags.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or go to the link below.

See you at Killin.

I'll be there along with at least five others.

Is the game going to be at Husky Stadium, or will it be at Qwest due to construction???

Think it'll still be at Husky Stadium.

*Edit* - Yup, found it in another thread. The construction on Husky Stadium will take place at the end of the 2011 season. They'll play at Qwest for 2012.

We'll be there and for once it's not a road trip for us (and all the rest of us West side family/fans)! There's a lot of construction going on which is cutting into the parking/tailgating areas but I'm sure we'll all figure something out when it gets closer.

Wouldn't miss it! The wife and me, our youngest (who'll be a HS senior and wants to play for EWU), grandpa and grandma, and more...

Was at a UW game a couple of years ago down on the field before the game against USC and had a Dawgman.com guy (rhymes with Kim Grinolds. Oh wait, that IS his name, the d-bag) ask where my other son was. Told him he was sitting with the rest of the recruits and he said to my face that they give those tickets to "everyone" and that my son would "never see the field at Husky Stadium". I still love the Huskies but I'm glad he's an Eagle and hope/pray this is one of those rare times that the FCS school beats the FBS school.

Hey Kim, he's gonna "see the field". Yeah, I'm holding a grudge...

To All,
If we have a Chartered Bus, myself and daughter will be there. To much damn construction will be going in the are to drive over there. I don't see how we can have a Chartered Bus for Montana, and can't get one for UW. ;)

The past two Tuesdays, those young men have been running the hills, and getting in outstanding shape. What I have seen, Shane Staggs, Anthony Vitto, Cory Mitchell, are really getting in very good shape. Don't get me wrong, they are all working very hard, I just noticed Shane and Vitto are always in the front. The "TEAM" will hold their own against UW. These are the CB,LB,WR,and others are out in the afternoons, the "BIG DUDES" are there at 6am, to early for me.

BTW, my lower back is coming along very well, I had a pinch nerve in th lower back, have to work on keeping pleanty fluids (water) in my system. I was always talking about drinking 8 glasses of water daily, until my Chiropractor said "yes Vic, you are not 120 lbs , so I drink 5-20 ounces cups of water daily, at least my kidneys are functioning ok, constantly going & going & going, to you know where.  Have a great weekend. Vic

talon38,Dozy,
Tell the Washburns, Nick will be trying to get a job for the summer, don't know if it will be here, or he is coming home to try and work. I was inquiring who will be staying here for the Summer, continuing in shape, he told me he wasn't on Scholarship, so he had to find a job. I will talk to Curly Russo, he is an outstanding EAA Member, each year he has numerous Athletes working for him. He is 'GREAT" when it comes to taking care of our Athletes. He loves them as I do.

Like I have said numerous times, being around those Athletes, men and women help myself and daughter with our grieving process since mom (wife)departed this world 12 years ago. p.s. my back did hold up,
last Wednesday we spread three yards of bark around my yard, had to put the rest off until this Tuesday, I got very tired. Weak legs.  Take Care. Vic
