We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Roll Punt

The "Roll Punt" maybe introduced this season by coach Kramer. The Roll Punt can be used as a change-up to both slow down the defensive rush and also neutralize a great returner. The Roll Punter will normally punt the ball but also has the option to pass or run if there is opportunity to make a first down. The Roll Punt should be exciting to watch as it could lead to some turnovers. I see some good things happening if the Punter learns the skill necessary to Roll Punt.

You're speaking of the "Rugby Style" punt, correct? If so, yes it messes up defender's and potential punt blockers because the punter moves out of the "pocket" and punts while on the move. The trick to a rugby punt is to kick the ball to allow the roll. That's probably what you mean by the roll punt, I would assume.

It's a great weapon and more often than not, it slows down the return.

yes, "rugby style" kick. Can be effective it perfected but also could lead to some punt blocks and sacks if the punter holds onto the ball too long. I personally like the idea of the rugby style kick this season, let's see what happens.
