Roos Eastside Expansion

Has anyone seen any plans or anything online that would give a vision to the eastside expansion? I have heard it will be something that is large and impressive from the street side passing through campus. Here is a video I found online, would love to see any other plans or models if they exist. :)

The short version is if this comes to fruition we'll have among the top facilities in the Big Sky.

This is the other million dollar question. Hopefully we hear something in the spring and summer.

That video is a something I made last year based off of a concept I came up with for rennovating Roos Field. :thumb:

Impressive work Ranger!

BF, try calling Marc Hughes (he was the golf coach when we were there if you remember him). He's an assistant AD now and would be a good place to start.

BF-

It was MetRX Mass Collegiate Series. That stuff has been discontinued, but there are similar powders out there. This is what I use; it's tasty and blends well with water if you're in a hurry. BSN Syntha-6.

If you want something that's similar to what we had, try this one. Xtreme size-up. It's a true meal replacement shake, so either skip lunch or make sure you're going as hard as we did back in those winter workouts, otherwise you'll end up on the OL with me haha.

Got it, hey what was the name of that powder Coach Lovat used to give us????

was it white and cost 200 dollars for a little baggy? :)

Haha, shoot, with some of the crazy things we used to do for workouts, that might have helped!

You mean things like the infamous "deadlifts to failure" workout of '07. Haunts my dreams...

Oh.....oh god. Dude, I had blacked that memory out. Definitely a dark day. Were you there when we did the "gameday" workout? We walked into the room and all that was on the sheet was "GAME PREP: POWER CLEANS 2x??" We had to leave the same weight on the bar for everyone on the platform.... I stopped counting the sets once we hit 60.

I understand that a presentation of the plan is going to the administration the last few days in March. If approved the begging will begain. From what has been described to me it will be a great addition to the red turf.
We will see it soon.

boy do I hope this plan is approved. EWU has suffered far too long with a substandard facility. This could really "start something big" in terms of what it could do for the program.

Would former players that received scholarships, pledge the cost of their education at the time they went to school as a type of paying it back?

Hard to speak for the other guys, but for myself that's always been part of my plan. My money's definitely not long enough at this point to do it all in one chunk, but I'll be donating something if (and when) the stadium renovation gets off the ground with an actual plan in place. There are probably plenty more out there who would be willing to donate a chunk as well, if not the 40-50k that a scholly was worth (rough estimate with no research  ) :twocents:
