Great news, I drove by Roos Field yesterday and it looks like the old scoreboard is in the process of being dismantled. Great memories but needless to say, it's about time.

Hopefully before the Montana game. Otherwise it'll be like the first game I attended at EWU where the scoreboard went out mid game and we had no clue what was going on lol.

Exactly, if its not in by the first home game ill be pissed. Buuuuut, when the pressbox was installed, it wasnt totally complete b4 the first game, but i believe it WAS functional... which leads me to believe it'll be up b4 the game with Montana.

I can't wait to see it either; it's supposed to be as big as WSU's. As for expanding seating... it's in the works.Wood0920 said:Montana State U got their scoreboard up within two weeks of getting it. I can't wait to see yours up and running.
I really would like you guys to start expanding seats. Strike while the pans hot.
The video scoreboard is expected to be in place by Sept. 1 for a high school kickoff event that will take place on Roos Field. The Reese Court video board will be installed shortly thereafter. Both boards will be constructed by Daktronics, one of the nation’s leading scoreboard manufactures.
The football scoreboard is expected to be completed well before the Eagles’ home opener on Sept. 29 against Montana, and will be “very proportionate to the size of Roos Field,” Chaves said.
