Talk about a slap in the face if it is true....
Eastern Washington - Mike Adras, Ernie Kent and Cameron Dollar.
If the 2nd and 3rd get it - be prepared the Los Angeles and Chicago pieplines will be arriving in Cheney. House cleaning of major epic proporations. In additions, all EWU assistants have been gassed and jobs have been posted. I applied it pays $25-35K joking WOW did not realize how low low D1 assistants make. Mike Adras though would be a major slap to the NAU brass.

I think that someone is just pissin in the wind. Adras would only be interested in that job if he was to be fired by NAU, which I don't think is happening any time soon. I just hope that they don't come sniffing around our assistants. I think they will take a JC coach or a hot coach from a lower division. Conners or someone like him is my guess.

EWU can't afford Adras. Why would dollar downgrade? SeattleU might get in the WCC.

I have recently applied for this job, after years away from the game I feel it is time to get back to coaching. Plus I already live in Washington so I wont have to move far.

I know none of the behind the scenes that goes on but based strictly on facilities/community support/recruiting budget, I cannot imagine NAU expects Coach Adras to do better than he has up to this point. NAU's athletic dept/admin is high if they expect final fours and they really need to understand that the grass isnt' always greener on the other side. My support is in Adras's corner. Besides, the state of Arizona is cutting funding left and right for any and all forms of education. Doesn't hiring a new coach usually result in a pay increase. Just don't see this happening at the moment.

I also think Cameron Dollar would be nutso to leave Seattle U for EWU. Seattle U may still be team without a conference but they're in a major metro area, play in a former NBA facility and would certainly have an easier time convincing inner/big city kids to go there than to Cheney.

Ernie Kent ....maybe. Depends on how much he missed coaching as opposed to color commentary/announcing? Wouldn't that stir up the Big Sky if he did go there to coach?

I can hear enough U of A fan gripes/gossip in real life without having to pay money.

This time of year always brings on drama of the off-hard court variety as well.
