For the season Weber is averaging 177 yards per game (yesterday's 337 definitely helped) on the ground. For not having a runner get a 100 yard game till yesterday (two accomplished the feat Bolen and Tafuna) thats pretty good.

Not to mention we actually got a first qrt touchdown for the first time all year

.........things are looking up?

GREAT EFFORT BY EVERYONE, A WIN IS A WIN...WIN AS A TEAM......

The O-line was really opening some holes for those runners saturday. And Higgins was really well protected. Did PSU get any sacks?

I don't think he was sacked all game. He only threw 19 passes though. The running game... It looked great Saturday. McBride took over the O-line coaching duties and shifted people around. They look like they're gelling at the right time. I think successfully running the ball this weekend will take more pressure off the receivers than Higgins. Mark my words, if the run gets going this Saturday, the receivers will catch everything.

I loved watching WSU pick on the PSU strong safety. Higgins caught that guy overplaying the run every time. UNREAL JOB, TAFUNA, BOLEN & the O-LINE. Remember 2 true freshmen, one second year Sophmore on that line. That kid Sauni looked good in place of Lavale at DT.
