Ryan Fitzpatrick almost an Eagle?

During tonight's Monday Night Football game, one of the announcers mentioned that Ryan Fitzpatrick's only scholarship offer was from Eastern Washington University. He didn't take it and instead went to Harvard and played football there. He was there from 2001 to 2004.

To think, Fitzpatrick could have been the QB to jump start our unreal string of successful QB's (Blankenship, Meyer, Nichols, Mitchell, Adams...)

I remember him well, he was with the Rams quite some time ago, and they traded him after a couple years now Look, the Rams have a 3rd string Quarter Back doing the job now. kind of made me mad. Makes sense since he went to high school in Gilbert, AZ and would have been recruited by Timm Rosenbach. Rosenbach having played for the Cardinals has/had many contacts in the area.
