If we can continue the trend of bringing local kids home, I think it will be huge for the team. If Taylor and Richardson can’t bring them in, no recruiter at the FCS level can.
 
UNI QB Will McIlvain has 12 D-I offers as of yesterday, as low as Merrimack and Saint Francis, and as high as FBS North Texas. He has two Sky offers: Idaho and Montana. Could Sac make a play for him, or are we too stacked to mess with a guy retreating from the MVFC? (I'm happy with what I've seen from Dunniway, O'Hara, and others.)

I know it’s not likely, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see the QB room run it back with the same group of 5.

The former Folsom High DB is transferring from UND to Sac for final two years of eligibility. He will help fill the Munchie Filer gap.

He wasn’t able to get consistent snaps as a DB at UND, the only minor concern with him. Otherwise, the fit is too good here to ignore. Hopefully, he can convince his teammate and another former Folsom player, Chandon Pierre to come. We need to reload on the pass rush side! Both were recruited by the Hornets out of HS

Now this is someone who could step in for Filer, even though it’d be only one year! I think he might honestly be even better than Filer himself

What's this, Kadeezy? I haven't heard anything about this. Is he a senior?

EDIT: Just looked it up. Munchie IS a senior. I was VERY impressed with his play this year, and hope to see him suiting up for my Cowboys next year....
