From the Sacramento Bee:

By late Wednesday afternoon, 102 people had applied, and athletic department officials said they're excited about the candidates to replace Jerome Jenkins, whose contract was not renewed following a 4-24 season.

Applicants include Washington assistant coach Cameron Dollar, who helped UCLA win a national championship as a player; San Joaquin Delta College head coach Brian Katz, a Sac State graduate who lives in Sacramento; Pacific associate head coach Ron Verlin, also a Sac State graduate; and former Weber State head coach Joe Cravens, who led the Wildcats to the NCAA Tournament in 2003.

Sac State Coaching Job Not Hurting For Candidates

And from the Seattle-PI blog:

Cameron Dollar's quest for a Division I head coaching job has taken him to Sacramento State.

The six-year Washington assistant coach, who came to the Huskies as the lead assistant for Lorenzo Romar, is one of three candidates who have been asked to interview for the Big Sky school opening, according to a reliable source.

The others are Jay John, former Oregon State coach, and Brian Katz, coach of Delta College, a Stockton, Calif., junior college. John has been unemployed since getting fired in January after his team lost to Dollar and the Huskies. Katz is a Sacramento State alumnus.
