Sac State vs. Wildcats

I'm looking for Bullinger to have a good game tomorrow, we are going to need him down the stretch. I think we will continue to see more Lillard/Hughey which I like. I think at one point against EWU we had Lillard, Hughey, Hansen, Session, and Mahoney on the floor, I actually liked that lineup. I would like to see some more Washington I thought he played great to start the season, and had really good games against the Cougars and others even though he is roughshod at times. It may be hard to give him playing time if Morris continues to play the way he did against EWU. I think Mahoney's 3 against Portland St. gave him some confidence because I've never seen him shoot so much, he did miss a bunch against EWU though. If he starts to hit those shots watch out. We will hopefully and probably hammer Sac tomorrow, but after the Montana Tech game earlier this season I'm always a little weary to predict victory.

Well 2 and 3 in the Sky just lost...MSU crushed by NAU and the Griz beat UNC! So we now have a nice cushion in conference. We need to extend it with a win over Sac State. They have been hanging with teams in conference lately, so we definitely can't look past them.

To be honest I really wanted UNC to go undefeated up untill they played us. It would have been nice to see us take down UNC, because they would have a top100 rpi and we need one of those wins. Either way I like that we have some breathing room. I really hope that UNC fairs well untill we play then at the DEC. That will be the game of the season.

I was hoping the same thing but I think they will get back on track.

Not me. At this point in time, any victory Weber can get is wonderful, MSU and UNC losing is a win for Weber because now we have a 2 game lead on both of them and UNC still has to come here, but Weber doesnt exactly have that easy a schedule left We still have to go on 2 of the toughest road trips and we still have ISU who is our rivals, NAU who is on the rise, and UNC at home still after tomorrow, and Sac aint going to be no pushover game. Although it was very hard to root for the Frissbies, I did and Im glad they beat UNC, now I want NAU to beat Montana and UNC to beat MSU. and then if all the teams below us continue to beat up on each other, thats a win for Weber.

GO WILDCATS, beat the Hornets

i dont knwo which surprises me more right now...the fact that nau has won four in a row or that UNC lost at home and has lost 2 of its last 4 games??? big win for UM at UNC, UM has won 4 of last 5

Last year we played Sac on a Saturday and our attendance was 6,255.
We never play on Fridays til this year so it makes it harder to guess what to expect.
On our first conf Friday night game last week, our attendance was 6,011 for PSU and both weekend games we had bad weather/snow which always hurts attendance.

So we should have at least 5,000 tonight since no bad weather, we are 7-1 though we are playing 1-7 Sac.

RANDY RAHE QUOTES
ON SAC STATE: “They do a great job of controlling the tempo of the game and dictating what they want to do on both ends of the court. Offensively, they will spread the court and work the clock, so you have to be patient on the defensive end of the court.”

ON THE WILDCATS: “I thought we played with purpose and with emotion last weekend. Those two teams have been extremely hard for us to play against over the past couple of years. We need to stay focused and keep our intensity alive and not let ourselves get comfortable since it’s only one game this week.”
