• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Sac State

I will have to admit that Sac State has markedly improved in the past few weeks. Who would have thought it? PSU has two games to win to make the tourney. Who would have thought it?One of the reasons for this is the terrible lack of minutes of key players. Samms had a good game but only played 17 minutes. She had 12 rebounds, 12 points and 3 blocks. Egwatu played 18 minutes and had 2 rebounds and 2 points with no blocks. I Lampman, a current dog house resident, had all of 2 minutes and Brock had 4. Rivard had 24 minutes and 1, that is right, 1 rebound.

This team has some talent but they just do not play like PSU teams have in the past few years. Remember PSU's comebacks against MSU and others? Down 20 points and coming back to win. Coming back to lead by one at home against Montana with Montana having the ball for the last shot. The Vikes blocking a shot out of bounds and then playing tough defense to halt Montana from getting a shot. The shot with .3 seconds on the clock by Valentine against UW. Losing to Gonzaga by 6. There just doesn't seem to be the chemistry with this team and the only way they win against decent teams is to shoot the lights out as they did against EWU.

you said it "chemistry" where is it? we have had it in Hawai'i, we had it at Eastern....what makes it come and go, so odd. The changing make up of this team has got to be hard on everyone playing...it's so hard to understand why there is no starting line-up that is predictable BY THE LAST 2 GAMES that makes absolutely no sense at all....I am sure the young ladies would love to find that chemsitry just two more times! LIghts out shooting can not be relied upon but knowing who you are playing with can. See if they can pull it together for the last two games, if not you can't fault the team, they look as befuddled as we feel. It's got to be hard on them, they know how to win but they are not given the tools, plays, schemes, defenses, offenses to do it. go figure.
