Well....at 1-3 :x is not exactly where we wanted to be, but if anyone is to blame it's ourselves. All the games have been close and the only reason why we are not 4-0 is because we are soft on defense. We can't play defense to save our lives. Every team looks great playing against us because we pretty much let them take wide open shots, lay ups, dunks etc. Even Idaho State looked great against us and we barely got the win in overtime  . It's time for this team to start playing more defense and play their games like it was their last. Sac State is struggling and I bet they'll look great against our sorry defense. I mean come on, for being the #2 best shooting team in the NATION we should at least have a winning record and not be 1-3 at this point. :x :x :x

Get it together Jacks, we need some DEFENSE so we can at least have a shot to make the conference playoffs!!

A more consistent effort on defense, hit a few more free throws (Coach Adras looks apoplectic on the bench when the team is shooting free throws) and have 1-2 more players put in 4 more points a night (giving Cameron Jones more support) and things will be fine. No more second half 15-20 point deficits to overcome only to lose by 1-3 pts would be nice, also.

I will admit that the NAU team I saw during an decent non-conference schedule hasn't shown up since conference play started. Long time left, though. The next three games are versus teams not playing the best ball recently. As good a time as any to make a short run. Go Jacks!
