Does Weber have a chance?

Weber showed that they can be competetive when they actually try to play, glimpses of this vs two of the best teams in the conf (EWU and CP) however, we are not at home this time and the road is not our friend.

Sacramento State is kind of an enigma team, plays really well on the road and so-so at home, they are 4-2 with road wins vs Colorado, Southern Utah and Idaho State, thier only conf loss comes at home to North Dakota, thier one conf home win was against UNC.

We have nothing to play for but pride, so lets go out and play spoiler and beat the Hornets

GO WEBER

This game scares me. But it's homecoming, the crowd should be good, and I think SAC will take it 31-21.

I would only be scared if Weber can some how manage to play like they are capable for a full game, something they haven't been able to do yet. At times they have played well enough to beat anyone in the conference, but haven't come close to doing it for four full quarters.

This is definitely not an easy win here unless WSU pulls a no show. There is talent on your roster but unfortunately it hasn’t been able to get it going. I agree that if WSU can play a full game that are capable of winning this one. I’m hoping the Hornets can come out firing on all cylinders and put this one out of reach early (3 possession lead). If we let WSU hang around anything can happen.

Here is our Sac Buzz thread if anyone is interested:

I don't think we win this one. We will hang with them for at least 3 quarters. But I think eventually the Hornets pull away. 42-31 Sac.

But now that Montana lost to SUU today Montana has to win out pretty much to make the playoffs this year. Could be real interesting for some good Big Sky teams. The Big Sky will probably get 4 teams into the playoffs... Maybe 5 depending on how Sac finishes the season.

Best of luck the rest of the way. I knew this wouldn’t be an easy one and sure enough Weber put up a hell of a fight. Our reward is getting to face EWU, CP, and MSU all in the next 3 weeks. :|
