I wanted to get a better idea of what we will be up against tomorrow, so I stayed up late last night and watched the Sac/ISU game. Although I can't unsee it, I am hoping that a team of optometrists can straighten my eyes out. Both teams fought hard to give their opponents a win, but only ISU was successful in the end, losing 60-61. I have no freaking idea how Sac was able to beat UNCo in Colorado. With all of that said, I hope we don't have any brain farts and lose a game like this.

Sac does not match up well with us at all. We can switch everything and not worry about a mismatch. They do have some guys who, if left unattended, can hit a shot or drive to the basket. I don't see us leaving anyone unattended. They will turn the ball over and they will give up a lot of open shots. I don't think we can take any BSC games lightly, but I would be surprised by anything but a large lead at the end. I'm hoping for no surprises.

If our shooting continues to improve, 95-75, if not, 85-75.

I'm probably being generous with the 75. :coffee:

Vegas line opened at -9 and has moved to -11.5
A lotta people see Weber as winning big.
This smells like a trap game. 3rd road game of the week, just beat the two teams in the top 3 of the conference, playing in a high school gym, weird officiating, and another big game on Monday.
I see Weber winning but they will make it too close for comfort…

That was a strange game. We win by 20 on the road, but it felt like the refs were going to call some sort of 30 shot foul. For the most part, the refs were letting them play. However, from time to time they would blow their whistle and it would be a total guess as to what they might do or say. That was the kind of officiating that we usually get only in Cedar City. Once again, none of their calls changed the outcome of the game. Their calls were often just weird and not supported by the replays. I hope that none of those guys will be doing games in Boise. That sort of officiating just makes everyone frustrated and detracts from the game.

No rest, three games coming up in the next week. :coffee:

Balanced scoring and good shooting. Playing at Sacramento has been challenging in the past. Nice win. Playing EWU at home tomorrow will be interesting. That’s another matchup that has been challenging.

i read online that brian katz retired due to a health issue. i see also he is still a voter in the mid major top 25. he had a long time assistant working this season as their interim. katz really was an amazing coach. 2015 big sky coach of the year winning 20+ games. thats a much bigger achievement than getting to the big dance with any of the other programs. i know this for sure having visited the nest on more than 1 occasion.
