Sac State

Score??
I can't get either Big Sky TV or radio here.

We're down 40-21 at half. :ohno: :ohno:

Also in foul trouble... Tremaine has 3, and Griffin has 2. Not sure about everyone else. Everything is dropping for Sac, we're taking terrible shots, not getting calls, and fouling like crazy of course.

Clawman: when I said "not good" it was an intentional understatement so that I didnt offend any folks on this site who might be sensitive.

I want my ticket money back! What an awful effort early. Again we come out NOT ready to play. No excuse. Coach has to figure this out soon and do a better job of getting them ready. His big recruit Chiverton is crashing fast. Last game vs. last place NAU we struggle and then tonight we let Sac shoot nearly 50%! Defense again is an issue. Fouling again is an issue. And shot selection is again an issue. Time is running out. We will get toasted by Weber and then need to win out. What a waste.

Does anybody out there know when was the last time that we lost, at home, to a team 300 or worse in the rpi??? I am almost certain that it did not happen in the Ray G, Burny, or Earlywine years.

And Ray G's. Hmm. Lol.

On a serious note, I think this is a key turning point for out team. I hope and pray we can get this turned around. If there was ever a wake up call this is it. The talent level is high and if Chiverton gets straight we will make a run in the tournament. We have to get there first!

They still have a two game edge over Sac State (and 1 game over UNC -but I can't see UNC making a run at this point), but it is not going to be easy. Hopefully a week off will help Chiverton's foot (didn't see the game but I am assuming it was bothering him since he played only 10 minutes) and help make the WSU game more competitive.

What a bad loss! We can't lose games like this and expect to compete for a big sky title. If we would have won, we would have been in the drivers seat for the #3 seed, now we are in 6th place with our next game at Weber.

I don't see UNC or Sac catching us, but I don't see this team winning enough games to reach the 3 or 4 seed. We would essentially have to win every game from here on out except the Weber game.

This team just didn't show up in the first half, it was a nice effort in the 2nd, but you can't play like that. There has been no consistency the last month and for a heavy senior led team, that should not happen. Losing at home to PSU and Sac was a joke, those are really bad losses.

This team needs to right the ship before the end of the season. Hopefully this team comes out with some fire against Weber because if they play like they did saturday it will be really ugly.
