The Eagles put it on a pretty good team today. Let them get back into it at the end but time was in our favor. I'm wondering whats going on with Jacob Davidson. Since he made the mistake of fouling at the end of the N Colo game he seems to be in coaches doghouse. He only played 22 minutes today but had 9 points and 3rd most rebounds on the team. He is no longer in the starting lineup.
Was he awarded conference player of the year last year or at least a candidate for that award.

Clawman, was thinking the same thing. To sit him after that mistake and his loooong list of straight starts broken is a head scratcher. A mistake like that in heat of the moment is a reflex mistake. He's an experienced player and I thought perhaps a candiadate for BSC player of the year. You don't sit him for that so there had to be something else said/done to start limiting one of the best players on this team and in this league playing time. I trust the coaches but if this team is going to make a run for a BSC title and win the BSC tourney then to the NCAA's Jacob is an integral of that equation and that means starting and getting lots of minutes.

Good win today. After starting off slow and down by double digits early we fought back and played a very solid second half. Another non start for Davidson but some of our young kids are looking very good. Time to go play tough and get two from a winless Idaho team before we square off with a good Bobcats squad. Should be a fun couple of weeks.

The Eagles kept fighting and made a nice win out of the slow start. I continue to be impressed with coach Leggins, hope we can keep him.
