What a dreadful last fifteen minutes of basketball to watch. At least it was a good chance to get the bench some minutes together.
-Tapscott only played 28 minutes, but it was perfection. I think he would have had a triple double if the game was closer.
-Parker was really able to get deep. 6/6 isn't half bad from the field.
-Good job limiting that freshman point guard of theirs that is like 6th or so in the country in assists per game. We kept him to a negative A/TO ratio.
So what exactly is the strategy of calling a full timeout with 18:32 to go in the first half in a 2-2 game? There was a Sac State guy by me that said that wasn't even the earliest that they'd done it this year. One of their games they called a full after the first attempted field goal. Strange.
