Bill Bradley is assessing SacStateSports.com, and what future it has. I understand that it is tough to turn a project like that in to a revenue stream, but it would be a real shame to have it go away. Hopefully they can find a way to make it work! I particularly enjoyed their football coverage, and daily “Wakeup Calls”. The Wakeup Calls were an easy, one-stop shop for recent Hornet coverage and certainly saved me some time as I started my day.

Would an admin create a new message and sticky a link to the site? Any little bit to help drive traffic there and let people know about it!

Hi guys,

SacStateSports is back as of today. We're still trying to get our act together for football season, so we're crawling before we walk. We've got a few posts up, but we should have a few each day with original content soon.

Where have we been? Well, SacStateSports hasn't made much money, so we were pursuing that all elusive job. However, the writers for SacStateSports really wanted to keep this thing, going so we're going to give it another shot.

We will make another unabashed plug for advertisers -- so if you know of any who want to be on the site, we will make room for them.

So, please be patient. We're just reloading ... kind of like the Hornets.

Have you thought about starting up a kickstarter? You could probably get at least a few hundred bucks to cover gas, domain name fees, etc.

Great to see you and your team back for another year, Bill!

I encourage people to comment on posts on the SSS.com site, share SSS posts through FB, Twitter, StumbleUpon, etc. Carrying some of the buzz over to SSS is a great way to expand it's reach and web ranking.

Glad to see Sacstatesports.com back for another football season as well. All I can say for people here is if you can take a few seconds to post on this site, post on that one too.
