Salary, Stadium and Staying

Does the AD determine Coach B's salary and also how many dollars are available for the staff? Will the Gateway Project include 'more bodies in the stands, rented space, and more bucks' for football salaries? Or will it be shared equally with the University and all sports?

Interesting information on Craig Bohl's contract with the North Dakota Bison: Contract base salary: $196,668 (also guaranteed $75,000 with media fee, speaking and camp)
Bohl’s incentives:
National title: $15,000
Conference title: $10,000
National runner-up: $10,000
Playoff host: $5,000 each (3 games)
3% ticket sales: $42,100

With all the musical chairs this year in college football coaching, I sure hope Coach B. gets paid, a new stadium gets built sooner than later, and he stays for a long time.

He just got a restructured contract extension this last off season. I believe it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 125k per year. I can assure you that Coach Baldwin (aka the "Mayor of Titletown") isn't going anywhere anytime soon. He's got big plans for EWU including the Gateway project! :thumb:

This is the first time I have actually seen a number for his contract I know you can find it since he is a state employee, but do you know how long the extension is for?

Baldwin also has a coaches foundation that probably kicks in a little more money. But we're never going to be paying more than $200k. It just doesn't make sense and the market doesn't demand it. The best thing Eastern can do is get behind their coaches, and bring in guys who can keep the train rolling. Baldwin won't be here forever and I'll support him when it's his time to move on.
