Sam Houston Blog?

I haven't read their forum much, but from reading over on AGS, their fans are very similar to NDSU fans. It appears excessive amounts of arrogance and douchebaggery rubbed off on them in their loss in the chipper last year. Oh well, hubris is a beautiful thing.

Wow...they certainly are a confident bunch. I still have nightmares about their 2004 last minute game winning drive. I keep hearing from the defeated bobcats that their speed was really impressive. Are they that much faster than other teams we have faced this year?

Sam Houston has great team speed, but so do we. Eastern is the most athletic team in the Big Sky and SHSU's speed does not frighten me. I really think it comes down to us playing well and executing our game plan.

To road games into cold weather is going to take a tole on the Kats. This is our game to win. We have the heart, the talent, the coaching, and the desire. If we take care of the ball and play with poise, this is our game.

I really believe this game is in our hands and the out come will be dictated by Eastern.

We are a fast team, but the strength of our team is the ability of our team to change schemes at the drop of a hat. If you stop the run, we will attempt to throw it on you. If you stop the pass we will run the ball down our opponents throat. Both teams are very athletic and well coached. The team that executes thier game plan will win. SHSU is coming off a very well executed game. I would say the best game I have seen them play in over a month. It shoudl be a good game.

How can guys be posting smack from a 2004 football game? Really...that's what you got? Our 20-22 yr. old guys playing now were 12-14 yrs. old. Like that has any bearing on Saturday afternoon...

I was at that game as a studet and it was the most heartbreaking loss ever. It's nice to get a crack at these guys again!

SE, it's hard to believe but the SHSU fans may be much worse than the NDSU fans we know and love so much.
