Sam Houston St wins big

I don't want to jinx anything or think to far ahead, but this is starting to remind me more and more of 2010. I would much rather play a road weary SHSU then a rival that knows us really well.

I'm nervous about tomorrow, but I'm just getting the sense that we will play well tomorrow. Then next week we hammer a tired and over confident team in the semi's.

Go Eagles!!

Sam Houston State looked really good tonight. The atmosphere didn't seem to bother them one bit. They practically moved the ball at will. Denarius McGhee was wretched; it was like he was too passive in the pocket and just couldn't see where the throws were. There were a lot of plays where he saw a delayed blitz and just couldn't find a receiver and wound up taking a sack or chucking it out of bounds. It appears the troubles MSU had been having offensively carried over.... and lead to another relatively quick Bobcat exit from the playoffs.

MLEAGLE/PDX,
I went out and saw our team practice. They really seemed calm and ready to go. I didn't stay very long, It was very "COLD/WINDY". Wind was blowing 18 miles per hr, out of the SW. Here is to hoping it calms down before kick off. Honestly, the only worry that I have about our team, is for the wind to be calm. Our team will take care of business. My worry is keeping these old bones warm enough. ;)

I am expecting an outstanding Game, I think our team is over the long lay off before their 1st playoff game. Ill State will be a tough game. They are here along with the Eagles, because they earned it, we both had to play excellent teams to get where they are. Weather is supposed to be 31 degrees, w/snow flurries. Hoping the snow will be in higher elevation. Hoping the crowd comes out an root us on to "VICTORY"   Go Eagles!!!!! Vic

SHSU looked great last night. They didn't look good against a Cal Poly team we man-handled, but Poly is a good team.

MSU was only going to go as far as their O-Line took them, and that was exposed big time last night. Add to it that they hadn't beaten a playoff team all season and the result wasn't that surprising.

The ISU game has a similiar feel to the 2010 NDSU game, and I expect a similiar result, with the Eags winning in overtime. Home field advantage being the difference.

Didn't help MSU's cause missing their leading rusher(Kirk) and for that matter their defensive BSC MVP(Owens) for most of the game.

Great win by the Eagles this weekend! You are correct on the Oline for MSU. There was much concern at the start of the season and we did well with an inexperienced line but it wasn't good enough to get us by a very good SHSU team. Cody Kirk being out didn't help either but no excuses we got beat plain and simple. We couldn't get to the SHSU QB the whole game. I think you guys will match up well with SHSU. I hope you guys make it to Frisco! Go Eagles!

Thank you Bobcat. MSU had a great season and we look forward to your visit to Cheney next fall. I was in Bozeman this year, fortunate I've made it to our last 3 games in your beautiful city. I was hoping we could match up again this weekend but that's college football, Friday's game didn't go the way we wanted. Hope your injuries heal and you win every game next season except when you face us. Beat the Griz, humiliate them if possible. Lighting the Griz stuffed bear prior to the game this fall was certainly a highlight for my friend who came with me. Another friend did the same at the Great Falls tailgate in 2008.

Let us know if any Bobcat fans are making the trip and we will reciprocate with beers etc. MSU fans are always great on our visits to Bozeman. Big Sky on to Texas!

The fact that EWU played Cal Poly's option offense this season will help prepare you against SHSU's spread option offense.

Do your program and the Big Sky proud and beat SHSU like a drum. I am looking forward to seeing some of their fans eat some humble pie when you do.

Go Eagles!!!

Slo, the boys will certainly do their damnedest! Reading the forums has been very entertaining ... I'd have to rate the Kat fan right there with the Herd on the obnoxious meter but regardless it's been a fine year for each of our teams. Really nice to have you in the Big Sky!

Can not tell you how happy we are to be in the best FCS conference.
