I guess they believe moving up to FBS somehow makes them USC or Ohio State thus can’t condescend to play down to FCS anymore.

It makes sense why upper tier FBS won’t play FCS anymore. But the bottom of the FBS barrel? Not so much.

Do we know if there was any $ compensation for the cancellation?

At least they didn’t have us travel there for the first game and cancel when they had it to come back to Sac for the return series.

Time to schedule that home and home series with U. San Diego

Sam canceled because they will get more $$$ from Hawaii. Plus, they will be playing other bodybag games to stay afloat at FBS. With a NC they only average around 6,000/game.

Just got word that Tennessee just pulled the plug on BYU 02 SEP 23. Any chance BYU wants the Hornets instead?
