Not to get ahead of ourselves but when I looked at their schedule WOW 4 of their first 5 games are at home.

I believe they were doing a stadium upgrade last year and made arrangements to play a lot of away games and neutral site games. They are on the receiving end of that alternation now.

I actually think they'll play A&M hard next week. I don't know if they can stop them, but I'm certain they can move the ball.
 
U of Incarnate Word is a new member of the 14 team Southland Conference(which SHSU is in) making the transition to D1. Last season they were a member of the D2 Lone Star conference and had a 1-7 record in conference(2-9 overall).

Agreed. Save for TAMU, UCA, and maybe McNeese and SFA, complete joke. They are going to march straight through the Southland into the playoffs. Hopefully we give them another loss and knock them out of contention for a seed.
 
I believe that the team SHSU beat this weekend was playing in their first ever football game? Correct me if I'm wrong but talk about a cupcake...
