Massey says Nicholls is a 17 point favorite. Hope San Diego tests them so we get a good look at what they are all about. Still think Nicholls looks like UCA from 2 years ago, maybe not quite as physical.

I think Nicholls is a legit team, although I won't claim to know a lot about them. San Diego has played two consecutive Big Sky teams who had no business being in the playoffs the last two years and both of them completely laid down. I expect Nicholls will be focused and not fall into the same trap.

I hope San Diego comes out fired up and at least stretches this game so it's competitive all four quarters. But I don't expect it. I think Nicholls State wins fairly easily.

As I understand it Nicholl's St aren't world beaters, but they should beat 0 scholarship San Diego, but NAU and Cal Poly both should have as well.

S.D. coach is one good spitter. Hope they lose so he doesn't muss up our turf!

On the other hand the Nicholls pass defense looks suspect.

Active DL but undersized, one good DB. I like the two receivers for SD. Both QBs look sharp. Thinking Nicholls might actually be more like UC Davisish with a more mobile QB from an offensive playcalling perspective.. Their 180 lb 5'9" RB isn't as fast as Eastern's :)
