UNC was picked to finish 6th in the Big Sky in both polls.

It was good to see that UNC beat NAU, should be a very tough league this year. I don't see anybody running away with it this year.

The Conference season is going to be a blast. Lets get as many fans as we can to the home games, and cheer on this team. Weber can win it all...

On that last play, did the clock start like it was supposed to? Oh wait, Eric Curry doesn't work Big Sky games anymore.

Hey Tal,
And lets all fly to those away games!!!

I bet we have a decent crowd for this one seeing that it's mascot night. I hope that there's a decent showing from the student section. The team needs the support!

LOL

I went to the Wyo @ USU basketball game on new year's eve. Two times in the game the clock didn't start when the ball was inbounded. The second time it happened was with less than one minute in the game.

As for mascot night and a good crowd that should be true but it's still not great timing...students are still out of school.

Another point about the UNC @ ISU game, UNC had a lane violation with just a minute or 2 left in the game and ISU missed the free-throw. With a new shot, ISU then made the free-throw.

Maybe the game wouldn't have gone into over time.

Also, UNC drove the ball down to take the final shot of the game in regulation only to have the final shot blocked.

! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

I don't even know where to begin. I had to work toninght so I wasn't able to be there and had to listen on the radio. I turned the game off at least 6 time there in the second half. Luckily I was compelled to turn it back on. Easily the most exciting end to a Weber basketball game that I can remember, and I've been watching the men in Purple since I was 8. Comeback led by a true frosh and a redshirt frosh. Then the 2 seniors started making plays after the youngens brought the team back from the brink of defeat. We gotta get more consistency from the seniors.

Wow. Great win Cats.

It was an incredible game to be a part of...we were going crazy in the crowd, great home atmosphere. The cats just never quit and they deserved that game. I agree lillard was great in the 2nd half but i disagree about the senior, McCoy was as good as i've seen him since hes been here with 23pts 4 assists, and davis had a great all around game with 9 pts 6 assists 6 rebounds 3 steals and 3 blocks, i think he leads the big sky in blocks. Davis really sparked the comeback with his steals and tips in the press. Also bullinger had a quiet 17 points also. It was a great team effort and coach rahe did a excellent job of keeping his kids heads into it.

I'll freely admit that I'm a little disappointed in the 2 seniors so far. At the beginning of the season I said that this team will go as far as McCoy and Davis take them, which I hoped/expected would be at or very near the top of the league standings. Perhaps I was expecting too much then, and still am now.

You are right, the box score proves that Davis contributed at a high level in every facet of the game last night, and McCoy led the way in terms of scoring, posting a career-high 23.

With the 2 freshmen Lillard and Buillinger igniting the comeback, we have seen a glimpse of what the future holds. Hopefully Davis and McCoy can keep things going like they did at the end of the game and in OT last night. If so, the Sky is not the limit.

Awesome win fellas!

UNC did not lose this game...WEBER, flat-out, beat the Bears. I knew that UNC would be a lot better this year than the last couple of years, which is great for their program and the Big Sky, but as for them coming into the Dee and beating Weber... Yeah, I don't think so! What a great Game!!! UNC is definitely going to compete in the league this season. In the last mins, it didn't seem like there was only 4,300 fans there... To think how loud that place would have been if there were more people there. With how competitive the Sky is this year, it would be great to average 5 to 6K per game. Two wins this week should bring more fans to the Dee for their games against MSU and UM.

Great comeback by the Cats!! I actually thought about leaving... shame on me. I'm glad I stuck around, that was one of the most exciting games I've ever seen. It was good to see them fight till the end. I thought every player contributed to the comeback. But I did have one question after leaving..... What if they played with that intensity the whole game?? It would've been a different story.... I shouldn't complain - a win is a win, and that was one hell of WIN! Go Cats!
