Great game on Thursday!!! Now its time for the Cats to protect the Dee. Did anyone notice who the top rebounder for the Cats was in Thursday nights game? Thats right Kellen McCoy with 8. By the way, where was Bay? Wasn't ISU really counting on him to be one of their best players of all time? Stucki is not a PG, but a SG. Once again O'Brien has three SG's on the floor, but nobody at the point. Stucki, had a monster game. Weber would have run away with the game if it hadn't been for Stucki. Yet, he was the only bengal who produced. Morgan was shockingly absent, excellent defense by the Cats. And their incredible big men really weren't very productive. Caspari had a great rebounding game with a 11. ISU may not be a very good offensive team, but their defense gives them opportunities and keeps them in the game. I'm looking forward to the rematch tomorrow. Weber needs to employ some type of pressure that will force ISU to use up more clock, giving them less time to set their offense. From what I could see, the bengals needed every second on the shot clock. Also, the Cats need to play aggressive defense consistently. Offensively...Weber will get their shots. Turnovers, Second Chance Points, and rebounding will be keys to Weber sweeping the bengals.

Kal Bay has a broken hand which will keep him out for about a month.

I was having similar thoughts about rebounding. Got out-rebounded by a bunch last night, and still managed to push the game to OT and then crush the bad guys. What does it say about our bigs and our littles when the shortest guy on the floor is our leading rebounder, and also has the single-game best rebounding total for the team? I think it speaks volumes about Kellen’s competitiveness and drive. Great job McCoy!

As for Saturday, I for one will be enjoying the “Idaho . . . Sucks . . .“ chant.

i was thrilled that weber was able to win last night but they have got to play better tomorrow. thank you grizzlies for beating psu

It was a great night of basketball, very fun road trip...when we finally got there!!

ISU is a good team. Will be tough to beat them again, glad its at home!

I still can't believe we won in Poca...we had previously lost 3 of our last 4 there and being down most of the game it was an amazing comeback and partly lucky that ISU isn't a very good free throw shooting team.

Has ISU not missed that last FT with what 13 seconds remaining, we may have not won. But instead the game went into OT. And at the same time we are the best FT shooting team in the conference which has been huge in helping the team go 5-0 on the road.

OT: 13 to 4.

Stats from Thursday night's game:

The 20 ISU turnovers resulted in 22 points for us compared to ISU's 13 pts.

My favorite stat of the game was points in the paint: WSU 32, ISU 16. If we can keep doing that no one can beat us because we already know we can shoot from outside.

Fast break points: WSU 10, ISU 4.

Bench points: WSU 14, ISU 14.

Great croud. 7400 screaming Bungle haters. Well, almost. There were 2 or 3 ISU fans up behind their bench. Won the rebounding contenst this time, thanks in part to Trevor Morris. That stretch where he got like 3 offensive boards in a row and ended up scoring on the last one was awesome. Much better!

Good game, to the victor goes the spoils.. You all have a nice team and I hope we can regroup and meet you in the BSC tourney.. I think it was bush that the clown tried to get a runout and dunk with seconds left.. We'll remember that.. Nick Hansen is still garbage and we didn't need him and neither do you all. BUT GIVE IT UP FOR CHRON TATUM'S DUNK! That was superior to any dunk in the BSC this year, including Davis' on Neville.. Chron dunked on TWO clowns, shoulda got a foul call, and was well above 11 feet. I was at a perfect vantage point.. Anyway, good luck the rest of the way and I hope you all host the tourney so I can come down..

Utard,

First off we call U of U - Utards...,

WSU has had a lot of trouble with ISU lately, we lost 3 of 4 in Poca before Thurs...first ISU sweep since 2003, and in 2004 ISU swept us, so I hope that doesn't mean a sweep on us next year!

I hope ISU can keep winning and finish 4 top...I'd love to see the semifinals with ISU/WSU & UM/PSU.

Chron's dunk was amazing...I had a smile on my face even though it was a Bengal...but for dunk of the year, we are too spoiled with Davis, I've never seen anyone dunk like him in college so I'll still say Davis has the best dunks of the year...though Chron's is up there!

Regarding our bench player Marco Ramos attempting to dunk after getting in the game in the final minute:

Coach Rahe:

"I apologize for that," he said. "The game was over, and we wanted to run out the clock. But the kid who tried to do it, he hasn't been playing much and got excited. He's a wonderful kid, but we never want to do anything to show anyone up."

Great game, ISU still sucks!!
But what about that half-time free throw shooting? Micah Berger steps up and is money at the line and then Dr. CATCAT gets up there and puts on a clinic on how not to shoot a free throw.
