J.J. Jumper Night Saturday at Weber State's Final Regular Season Home Game

he Weber State men’s basketball team has clinched the Big Sky regular season title and the Wildcats will host the 2009 Big Sky Championships in Ogden.

Saturday night the first-place Wildcats will host Sacramento State in their final regular season home game of the year. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at the Dee Events Center.

Saturday will be Fan Appreciation Night. The first 1,000 kids 12 and under will receive a free Weber State mini basketball or wristband.

Also on Saturday the official mascot of NCAA Basketball, J.J. Jumper, will be at the game giving away prizes and entertaining the crowd.

Fans and kids will be able to interact with J.J. Jumper as well as get their picture taken with him. He will also perform during timeouts and halftime, sign autographs, and hand out prizes. J.J. Jumper's purpose is to increase enthusiasm and awareness of NCAA Basketball, while engaging and educating youth on healthy physical, emotional, and educational values.

During the game WSU will also honor the two seniors on this year’s team, Kellen McCoy and Daviin Davis.
