The only players who can beat the Viks on Saturday are our own. The Vikings will go into the game against Northern Colorado with confidence, but hopefully not overconfident.

I predict a blowout for the goodguys. I just hope that the inferior competition does not effect the turnout. I figure I can take the risk of being overconfident.

This kind of thinking is what allows upsets to occur. The win against New Mexico was great and all of PSU should be proud and happy. Sounds like the defense gave a dominating performance and the offense took advantage of the opportunities they had, but they must play a more complete game on offense. Next week is also a huge game - the first in Big Sky play. Go Vikings, beat the Bears.

No to mention it'll be the first official conference for Northern Colorado as members of the Big Sky Conference. They joined the party this year.

I'd say Portland State wins but by 7.

the momentum carrying over to this game will be un-parralled comparing to UNC coming into this game, it won't be close at all

I say a close call but a Viks victory. This is a classic trap game in between a huge upset win and a big look ahead game at Cal. If it was anybody but UNC, I might predict a loss.
