The PSU Viking women will hold their end-of-season celebration on Saturday, 4/25 at the BridgePort Brewpub and Bakery in the Pearl. The fun will occur from 10-1:30 and includes a brunch buffet, just like last year. The festivities will provide everyone an opportunity to spend some additional time with the team and bask in their glorious season. Cost is $30 per person.

I'll provide additional information early next week on how to RSVP.

As promised, here's the official announcement regarding the celebration:

The Portland State women's basketball team will hold its end of the season awards banquet on Saturday, April 25 at the BridgePort Brewing Company.

The banquet will start at 10am, and will feature a brunch and the announcement of the team awards. A highlight film and senior tributes will also take place. The Vikings will also be celebrating their historic 2008-09 season in which they went 23-10 and advanced to the second round of the WNIT for the program's first-ever postseason appearance at the NCAA Division I level.

The cost for attending is $30 and includes brunch and a no-host bar. Please RSVP by April 15 to Head Coach Sherri Murrell at 503-725-4502 or by e-mail at [email protected].

Because Kelsey had already scheduled a graduate test the same morning, the start time for the End of Season Celebration has been pushed to noon-PT. The fun will now occur from noon - 3:30...same place as previously reported.
