Here is my predictions for the 2007 final BSC standings:

A program can't be a winner in this conference with 43 transfers. Until PSU builds a 4 year program they will be middle dwellers. 43 transfers on a 1-AA team will have great atheletes, but average teams, that will loose to average athelets who play for a program for 4 years, who make GOOD teams! NO CONTINUATY with that many transfers, it is a TRAP, with no integrity. A good 1-AA program builds a core of its players who are 4 year players and fills in where needed with a few QUALITY D-1 transfers.

Turner Brown your predictions are bit outrageous and your reasons to having 1A transfers on a team is defeating to a 1AA program deos not make any sense!!! Having 1A transfers or JC transfers has been apart of the 1AA program since it has been a NCAA afiliated program. If you look at all the top 25 1AA schools look who are 1A transfers on their team ... they are players the end up being major contributors or even 1AA all americans!

Just because SAC beat EWU does not mean they will do exceptionally well this year, EWU is a broken program who is recouping from the loss of some major players and are trying to establish themselves again.

dont get me wrong I thing SAC has the best team they have had in quite some time but I do not think they can put it together week after week to the likes of Montana, PSU, MSU, and ISU!

If you have not realized that the BSC is like the old AFC west . . . on any give sunday its the team who shows up to play wins, except for its for any given saturday who shows up to play wins!!!

I'd like to see us begin a rivalry with UC Davis. Kinda like a Cal Wine Country vs. Oregon Wine Country. I think we are very similar in our abilities. If we could do a home and home series with Davis, that would be awesome.

I would also like to see us play @ OSU next year, and play a member of the WAC. Not just the bottom dwellers, but ANY member of the WAC. We've given the top teams in the WAC a scare the last few years, Boise State last year and Fresno State the two years before that.

Playing one of the good east coast teams (New Hampshire, Appalachian St, etc) would give us a good judge of how we would do in the playoffs. The only problem would be the expense of getting our team there without a big payoff. I'd rather see us play Cal Poly, North Dakota and Davis due to the regional aspect.
