• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

I attended both the semi and final junior college state championship games at Consumnes River College in Elk Grove over the weekend. I was glad to see that Coach Katz was there for both games too. So was Mike Marcial former Fresno City College and Sac St point guard. Fresno City beat Yuba College in the final. Two southern California teams were eliminated the first day.

Katz seemed to know quite a few of the people in the stands and he was making the rounds. There were several decent players there altho some have already accepted scholarships. Yuba had two big men that I liked; Kevin Crabb a 6'8" soph from Roseville and Caleb Johnson, a 6'9" soph from El Camino in Sac. Their best player is still available too, I think; 6'3" shooting guard, Spencer Butterfield of Del Oro. He could take Hoffman's spot. He's as good a shooter, but stronger and a very good rebounder (Yuba's leading rebounder) and steals leader. He has offers tho from four other D-1 programs including San Jose St and Utah State. Cody Kale is Yuba's point guard and very good, but he's listed as a freshman (I know he played for Cal St Bakersfield one year); he could play shooting guard too, I think. They also have a 6'6" forward, Deaundray Robinson, that plays somewhat like Walter Jackson.
