• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

SEC conference only

At this point, it feels like the best solution is just to push the start of the season back six months and do it right.

What are odds BSC will play a conference only schedule...70/30? If they cancel season till next year how will scholarhips work with incoming players if they allow seniors to come back? I sure hope they play.

What do you really save by not having a season?
Travel- of course
lodging
meals
maybe Covid testing
Other direct costs of a game
Costs still ongoing:
coaches and training salaries and burden
scholarships

If the season gets cancelled they must believe it would be a financial loss, and/or most schools wouldn’t be able to recoup costs.
With the Florida/$$$ game now gone, I also think the BSC will probably announce a decision very soon.
It’s too bad, I was really looking forward to visiting Gainesville & Jacksonville... and watching Eastern beat an SEC team.

Disappointing. Had the Florida game in my sights and was looking forward to rubbing elbows with 1,000's of sweaty Gator fans.

Aiming to make a trip up in October and looking forward to seeing the new turf.

Hope everyone here has been as unaffected by "the Rona" as I and my family. Lucky

Given all the tumult, shouldn't the NCAA just step in and push the season back? It feels like the path of least resistance at this point. I know it's not ideal for one season to end in early June and then have players report back to fall camp two months later, but it seems better for everyone involved than playing a total whackanoodle schedule.
